Located in the majestic Kachina Basin, Wheeler Peak Condos look out at a rim of white peaks in the heart of Taos Ski Valley’s biggest terrain access at Chair 4. This is a 4WD only community.
Steps from trail access for Williams Lake and Wheeler Peak, Bavarian Restaurant’s massive sundeck German restaurant. Unbelievable views of peaks, trees and alpine meadow in the summer and beautiful white peaks in winter. Night skies offer unimpeded views of the Milky Way. Birding, morning toast and tea, and slowing down are highly encouraged. Parking for one car condo-side, overflow available.
Directions
Located at 91 Kachina Rd, top-of-the-world. From Taos Ski Valley base area head up Twining Rd, follow the main road to the top. The names changes a few times, and then becomes Kachina. We are four large green-roof buildings on the left just after the William’s Lake and Wheeler Peak hiker parking and before you get to the parking for the Phoenix, Bavarian and Lift 4. Turn into the second entrance, where you’ll find the 400 building, then 300, 200, 100 down the hill.
