The Snow Bear is a classic ski lodge built on the slopes below Whitefeather, the long lower front-side green run at Taos. Close to the Lift 1 base area, above the Rio Hondo Learning Center. Parking on-site for one car per condo. Take the Gondolita or Rueggli Lift in winter to the Lift 1 base area, or park in main parking and take the shuttle. Shady and green all summer, buried in snow in winter. Taos Ski Valley is a seasonal resort see the official TSV website for current dining, shopping, and activities.
Directions
Located at 22 Firehouse Road, Taos Ski Valley, NM 87525. From the main base area, head up past the Rio Hondo Learning Center. Snow Bear is on the slope side, below Whitefeather run. In winter, take the Gondolita or Rueggli Lift down to the base, or park in the main lots and take the shuttle. 4WD or AWD required in winter. Two-wheel drive is fine in summer.
